The BroadLEARN™ IELTS test preparation course offers learners comprehensive preparation and realistic practice for the Academic and General Training versions of the IELTS test.

Each skill area features a sequential series of lessons called Test Preparation units.
The units are self-contained resources to assist with the preparation of skills and understanding required for the IELTS test.

The Test Preparation units provide the instructional component to the course, and include:

* 34 units (with instructional text, activities and feedback)
* 183 interactive learning activities
* 58 video sequences
* over 90 minutes of audio recordings

The Test Preparation units are ideal for self-study or classroom use.

The units develop the specific listening, speaking, reading and writing skills assessed in the IELTS test. The units have been designed to:

* Provide an analysis of the various tasks that comprise the IELTS test
* Provide effective strategies which may be useful in responding to these tasks
* Assist in the development of the skills to understand and analyse graphics (tables, diagrams, flowcharts, graphs and maps)
* Provide extensive practice in selecting and organising information to produce clear and logical answers in productive tasks
* Assist learners to actively build their grammatical and lexical range for receptive understanding and productive use in the IELTS test
* Offer insights into how candidates' answers are assessed and how this correlates to the IELTS scoring system
* Offer model answers in response to realistic IELTS tasks
* Provide learners with dynamic feedback on their responses
* Allow learners to complete self-assessment checklists of their work
